Core Responsibilities
Planning and delivering Economics lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, focusing on both microeconomic and macroeconomic principles.
Guiding students through the analysis of economic models, supply and demand dynamics, and the impact of government intervention.
Preparing Year 11 and Year 13 cohorts for public examinations through detailed case study analysis and essay-writing workshops.
Developing students' quantitative skills, enabling them to interpret complex data sets and economic indicators with precision.
Fostering a classroom environment where students feel confident debating economic theories and their real-world applications.
The Successful Candidate We are looking for a specialist who is intellectually curious and able to communicate sophisticated ideas to a teenage audience. Requirements include
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Economics or a related field such as Finance or PPE.
The ability to stay abreast of current economic trends and integrate them effectively into the curriculum.
Strong subject knowledge of A-Level and GCSE specifications, with a proven track record of supporting student attainment.
