The Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver a high-quality, enquiry-based curriculum across KS3 and KS4. You will join a department that values fieldwork and contemporary case studies, with the opportunity to teach A-Level Geography for a candidate with strong subject expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Physical & Human Mastery: Teaching core topics including plate tectonics, coastal management, urban regeneration, and global development.
Fieldwork Leadership: Organizing and leading local and national field trips to develop students' data collection and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) skills.
Sustainability Advocacy: Leading school-wide initiatives on environmental awareness, carbon footprints, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Exam Excellence: Preparing students for AQA or Edexcel GCSE Geography, focusing on high-level evaluative writing and the application of statistical techniques.
