About the Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR function, assisting with staff recruitment, records management, and employee relations. You will contribute to maintaining accurate records, processing HR documentation, and supporting the school’s HR processes in line with policies and statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with recruitment processes, including job postings, applications, interviews, and reference checks
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date staff records and personnel files
Supporting induction and onboarding processes for new staff
Assisting with payroll and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with school policies
Responding to staff enquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Supporting the HR Manager with audits, reporting, and statutory compliance
Preparing contracts, letters, and other HR correspondence
Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with data protection legislation
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in HR administration, ideally within an educational setting
Be highly organised, accurate, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be confident using IT systems, including HR software and Microsoft Office
Understand confidentiality, safeguarding, and employment law requirements
Be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and collaboratively
