The Role

The school is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to support and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring technology across the school operates efficiently, supporting both academic and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff and students across the school

• Maintain hardware, software, and network systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly

• Support classroom technology including interactive boards and devices

• Assist with system upgrades, installations, and maintenance

• Manage user accounts and permissions

• Ensure systems are secure and compliant with safeguarding standards

Requirements

• Experience in an IT support role (education desirable)

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Commitment to supporting teaching and learning through technology
