Key responsibilities include:
Teaching a Year 5 class and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Monitoring pupil progress and supporting targeted interventions
Mentoring or supporting less experienced teachers where appropriate
Contributing to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
Supporting the transition of pupils into Year 6
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have strong experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2
Demonstrate leadership potential or previous leadership experience
Have strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Be organised, proactive, and confident supporting colleagues
Have a commitment to raising pupil achievement and supporting staff development
