Art Department

The Role
The school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Art Technician to support the delivery of high-quality art education. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and organise materials and equipment for lessons
Maintain and manage art supplies and stock levels
Support students during practical sessions when required
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Maintain studios, equipment, and specialist resources (e.g. kilns)
Assist with displays and exhibitions of student work
Provide administrative and logistical support to the department
What We Are Looking For
Experience working in an art or educational setting (desirable)
Strong practical skills and knowledge of art materials and techniques
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Awareness of health and safety requirements in an art environment
Enthusiasm for supporting creative learning
