The Role

The school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Art Technician to support the delivery of high-quality art education. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organise materials and equipment for lessons

• Maintain and manage art supplies and stock levels

• Support students during practical sessions when required

• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

• Maintain studios, equipment, and specialist resources (e.g. kilns)

• Assist with displays and exhibitions of student work

• Provide administrative and logistical support to the department

• Strong practical skills and knowledge of art materials and techniques
