The Role

The school is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to support the smooth running of the school’s IT systems. This role is essential in ensuring that technology is used effectively across the school to enhance teaching and learning.

You will work closely with staff and students to resolve technical issues, maintain systems and support the development of IT across the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to staff and students

  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software and network systems

  • Support classroom technology and digital learning tools

  • Install and configure IT equipment and software

  • Assist with system upgrades and maintenance

  • Ensure network security and data protection compliance

  • Support the development of IT systems across the school

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an IT support role

  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software and networking

  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
