Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5)
Planning and delivering engaging lessons with practical experiments
Supporting pupils in developing scientific knowledge and enquiry skills
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Preparing pupils for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations
Contributing to curriculum development
Supporting extracurricular science activities
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Be confident delivering both practical and theory lessons
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be passionate about science education
Work effectively within a collaborative team
