We are seeking an ambitious School Business Manager for an Outstanding secondary school in Jesmond. This role is a strategic leadership position, responsible for the financial, operational, and site health of the school. We are looking for a professional with a pioneering spirit who can ensure that resources are maximized to support an aspirational learning community.

Responsibilities

• Lead on strategic financial planning, including budget setting and monitoring

• Oversee the school’s site management, health & safety, and capital projects

• Manage the administrative, HR, and catering functions of the school

• Act as a key advisor to the Headteacher and Board of Governors on business matters

Qualifications and Experience

• DSBM/CSBM qualification or a degree in Business/Finance is highly desirable

• Proven experience in a senior operational or financial role

• Must have the right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: £48,000 – £56,000

• Full-time, permanent (Part-time considered for the right candidate)
