About the Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum, fostering a love of learning, and promoting the academic, social, and emotional development of your class. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons across all curriculum areas for Year 3
Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL
Monitoring and tracking pupil progress, providing timely feedback and interventions
Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, resources, and teaching strategies
Engaging with parents and carers to support pupil learning and development
Participating in school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities
Contributing to the pastoral care and well-being of pupils
Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS or be completing an ECT programme
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 or during training placements
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
Be creative, enthusiastic, and able to inspire pupils
Have excellent organisational and communication skills
Be committed to inclusive education and safeguarding
