About the Role
As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students’ technical and creative abilities while encouraging self-expression and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Art across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level

• Planning and delivering engaging, structured, and differentiated lessons

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

• Supporting curriculum development and resource creation within the Art department

• Promoting practical skills, experimentation, and artistic exploration

• Encouraging participation in extra-curricular activities, exhibitions, and competitions

• Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Art, Fine Art, or a closely related subject

• Possess QTS or PGCE

• Have experience teaching Art in a secondary school, ideally including GCSE and A-Level

• Demonstrate strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills

• Be passionate about inspiring creativity and supporting student progress
