About the Role
The DT Teacher will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons, fostering students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching DT across KS3–KS5
• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Planning and delivering structured, practical lessons
• Monitoring student progress and implementing interventions
• Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activities
Candidate Requirements
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in Design & Technology or related discipline
• Knowledge of workshop tools, machinery, and materials
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
