SENCO – Inviting Secondary School in Bournemouth – April Start
An inviting and supportive secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated SENCO to lead and strengthen SEND provision from April.

The Role
As SENCO, you will:
Lead and oversee SEND provision across the school
Coordinate EHCPs and individual support plans, ensuring statutory compliance
Monitor student progress and implement targeted interventions
Provide guidance and training to teaching staff to promote inclusive practice
Liaise effectively with parents, external agencies, and the senior leadership team
You will play a central role in embedding inclusive strategies across the curriculum and supporting both academic and pastoral development.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and safeguarding procedures
Experience leading interventions and supporting staff development
Passion for inclusive education and improving student outcomes
