The Role

As Head of Biology, you will:

• Lead and shape the strategic direction of Biology across KS3 & KS4, with strong KS5 provision

• Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment within the Biology team

• Oversee curriculum planning, schemes of work, and data analysis to ensure strong outcomes

• Support and mentor colleagues, promoting collaboration and professional growth

• Contribute to whole-school improvement and enrichment opportunities within Science

You will maintain a teaching timetable and model outstanding classroom practice.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

• Strong subject knowledge in Biology with experience teaching to KS5
