About the Role

The Site Assistant will work alongside the Site Manager and wider facilities team to ensure that the school environment is safe, clean, and operational. You will undertake routine maintenance, assist with events, and support health and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing general maintenance and minor repairs across the site
• Supporting site security and access control
• Preparing and setting up rooms for lessons, events, and examinations
• Assisting with health and safety checks and compliance
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers as required
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in site management, maintenance, or facilities work
• Basic DIY and repair skills
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential
