About the Role
The school is looking for a French Teacher who can deliver engaging and communicative lessons that build students’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. French is a valued subject within the curriculum, with strong uptake at GCSE and a growing A Level cohort.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching French across KS3, GCSE and A Level
• Planning interactive and culturally rich lessons
• Preparing students for examinations and assessments
• Monitoring progress and implementing targeted support
• Contributing to enrichment activities such as language clubs or trips
The Ideal Candidate
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in French or related discipline
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for languages
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and raising attainment
