The Role
The academy is looking for a Business Teacher who can deliver engaging and exam-focused lessons that develop students’ commercial awareness, analytical skills, and understanding of enterprise. Business is a popular option at GCSE and A Level, with strong uptake and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A Level
• Planning and delivering high-quality, structured lessons
• Supporting coursework and examination preparation
• Tracking progress and implementing targeted intervention
• Contributing to curriculum development within the faculty
There may also be opportunities to support enterprise initiatives, careers events, and enrichment activities.
Candidate Requirements
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in Business, Economics, or related field
• Strong subject knowledge and assessment expertise
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Commitment to raising attainment and maintaining high standards
