An Outstanding Ofsted-rated co-educational secondary school in Wandsworth (ages 11–18) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher (ECT) to join their successful English Department from as soon as possible.

The Role

As an English ECT, you will:
• Teach engaging and thoughtfully planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 opportunities available.
• Bring passion and originality to the teaching of English Language and Literature.
• Contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking English Department.
• Participate fully in school life, including extracurricular clubs, reading groups and enrichment activities.
• Receive tailored mentoring, coaching and training throughout your ECT induction.

Requirements

The successful candidate:
• Is completing a PGCE or equivalent and holds QTS.
• Has a genuine passion for English and developing young readers and writers.
• Demonstrates creativity, excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom practice.
• Is reflective, enthusiastic and committed to ongoing professional growth.
• Values teamwork and contributes positively to a supportive learning community.
