About the Role

The school is looking for a Maths Teacher who can deliver consistently high-quality, engaging lessons to develop students’ problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills. You will contribute to the department’s strong academic outcomes and collaborate with colleagues to support enrichment opportunities such as UKMT challenges and extension programmes.

Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering lessons across KS3, GCSE, and A Level
• Assessing student progress and providing targeted intervention
• Supporting curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Participating in collaborative planning and moderation
• Contributing to extra-curricular Maths activities and competitions

The Ideal Candidate

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in Mathematics or related discipline
• Experience teaching GCSE and A Level desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and student-focused
