About the Role
The school is looking for a Chemistry Teacher who can deliver engaging, enquiry-led lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will support students in developing scientific reasoning, practical skills, and conceptual understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching Chemistry at KS3, GCSE, and A Level
• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
• Monitoring student progress and implementing intervention strategies
• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
• Supporting enrichment activities such as STEM clubs and competitions
The Ideal Candidate
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in Chemistry or related discipline
• Strong subject knowledge and practical science experience
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and student-focused
