About the Role
The school is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Science Teacher who can deliver consistently high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. At GCSE and A Level, students achieve well above national averages, and there is a strong culture of academic ambition within the department.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach their subject specialism at GCSE and A Level while contributing to the broader KS3 curriculum. Lessons are enquiry-driven, practically rich and designed to develop deep conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning and analytical thinking.
Collaboration sits at the heart of the faculty’s success. Teachers engage in joint planning, curriculum refinement and evidence-informed practice to ensure outstanding outcomes for all learners.
The Ideal Candidate
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in a Science-related discipline
• Ability to teach Science across KS3–KS5
• Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory experience
• Commitment to high academic standards
• Passion for enrichment and STEM opportunities
