The Role

This is a full teaching position across KS3–KS5, with a particular focus on Literature at GCSE and A-Level. The successful candidate will deliver intellectually ambitious lessons that promote close textual analysis, independent interpretation and critical evaluation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching English Literature across KS3–KS5
• Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Leading seminar-style discussions in small teaching groups
• Supporting Oxbridge and Russell Group applicants where appropriate
• Contributing to literary enrichment activities, including book societies and theatre visits

Small class sizes allow for detailed feedback, extended discussion and high-level analytical work.
