About the Role

The school is looking for an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to deliver consistently high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will play a key role in maintaining the department’s excellent academic outcomes and inspiring students to develop curiosity and practical scientific skills.

Responsibilities include:
• Teaching Biology at KS3, GCSE, and A Level
• Planning and delivering engaging, enquiry-led lessons
• Supporting students’ academic progress with assessment and intervention
• Contributing to enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and Olympiads
• Collaborating with colleagues for curriculum development and moderation

The Ideal Candidate

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in Biology or related discipline
• Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Biology desirable
• Strong subject knowledge and practical science skills
• Excellent classroom management and communication
• Commitment to student development and enrichment
