Office Manager – Primary School – Leeds

The Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school, acting as the operational link between staff, parents and the senior leadership team.
The Role
As Office Manager, you will oversee all administrative operations, ensuring systems are efficient, compliant and supportive of teaching and learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the front office and supervising administrative staff
• Overseeing pupil admissions, attendance and data management
• Supporting financial administration, including purchase orders and budget tracking
• Coordinating HR administration such as staff contracts and absence monitoring
• Managing communications with parents and external agencies
• Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are rigorously followed
• Supporting the Headteacher with operational planning and reporting
This is a varied and hands-on leadership role within the school’s central team.

An understanding of safeguarding and compliance requirements in schools is essential.
