A high-achieving secondary academy in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join its successful Science Faculty ASAP. This is a full-time, permanent role within a well-established multi-academy trust known for strong academic outcomes and clear professional development pathways.

The Role

The academy is looking for a specialist Physics Teacher who can deliver engaging and rigorous lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with A Level teaching available for suitably experienced applicants. The Science Faculty has a strong track record of GCSE and A Level success, with Physics being a popular and well-supported subject at Sixth Form.

You will contribute to curriculum planning, intervention strategies and enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, university partnership projects and national competitions. The academy benefits from modern laboratories, dedicated technicians and a structured behaviour system that enables teachers to focus on high-quality teaching.

Candidate Requirements

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in Physics or a closely related discipline
• Ability to teach Physics up to KS5
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners
• Legal right to work in the UK
