Teacher of History – Independent Senior School – Cambridge
A highly regarded independent senior school in Cambridge is seeking an accomplished and enthusiastic Teacher of History to join its Humanities faculty. History is one of the school’s most successful subjects, with consistently strong GCSE and A-Level results and high uptake at Sixth Form. Students are articulate, engaged and confident in debate, creating an intellectually stimulating classroom environment.
The Role
You will teach History across KS3–KS5, including A-Level. The curriculum encourages depth of analysis, source evaluation and independent research. Small class sizes allow for seminar-style discussion, extended essays and meaningful feedback.
You will also be encouraged to contribute to academic societies, model United Nations, debating or enrichment lectures.
The Department
