The Role
As Head of Geography, you will provide academic and strategic leadership for the department across Key Stages 3–5. You will oversee curriculum planning, ensure excellence in teaching and learning, and inspire both pupils and colleagues through deep subject expertise.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and developing a team of Geography specialists
• Designing and refining a rigorous, engaging curriculum
• Teaching across GCSE and A-Level
• Overseeing fieldwork provision, including residential trips
• Monitoring academic progress and implementing enrichment initiatives
• Contributing to wider school life, including pastoral or co-curricular roles
