About the Role
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to deliver consistently high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will play a key role in maintaining the department’s strong academic outcomes, teaching motivated pupils who demonstrate excellent behaviour and a commitment to learning.
At GCSE and A Level, Mathematics is a high-performing and popular subject, with many students progressing to Further Mathematics and STEM-related degrees. The curriculum is carefully sequenced to develop fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills, ensuring deep conceptual understanding alongside examination success.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative department that shares planning, assessment strategies and intervention approaches to maximise student progress.
Experience and Qualifications
• Ability to teach Maths across KS3–KS5
• Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline
• PGCE/QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for mathematics
• High expectations for achievement and behaviour
• Legal right to work in the UK
