Our client, a highly regarded independent 11–18 day school in Cambridge, is seeking a knowledgeable, dynamic and forward-thinking Business Teacher to join their thriving Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty as soon as possible. The successful Business Teacher will deliver Business Studies across KS4 and KS5, with the potential to contribute to Economics depending on experience. You will design and deliver engaging, discussion-led lessons that develop commercial awareness, analytical thinking and real-world application of theory.
Students are ambitious and intellectually curious, with many progressing to leading universities to study Business, Management, Finance and related disciplines. The school is seeking a practitioner who can stretch high-achieving pupils while nurturing confidence, independence and entrepreneurial thinking.
Beyond classroom teaching, there is scope to contribute to enrichment opportunities such as enterprise competitions, investment clubs, guest speaker events and partnerships with local businesses and universities.
Experience and Qualifications
• QTS/PGCE and a degree in Business, Economics or a related discipline
• Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Business
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current business contexts
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to wider school life and co-curricular involvement
