Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Prepare, set up, and clear away materials and equipment for Art lessons.

• Maintain and organise art studios, storage areas, and specialist equipment.

• Support teachers during practical lessons where required.

• Order, monitor, and manage stock of materials and supplies.

• Maintain tools and equipment safely, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.

• Assist with mounting, displaying, and presenting student work for exhibitions and displays.

• Provide technical support for GCSE and A-Level coursework where applicable.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working in an art-related environment (school experience desirable).

• Practical knowledge of a range of art materials and techniques.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Awareness of health and safety practices within an art or workshop setting.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
