With student uptake in all three sciences increasing, the school is now looking for a conscientious and well-organised Science Technician to support day-to-day practical science delivery.

Role Information

The Science Technician will be responsible for preparing materials, solutions, and equipment for lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Duties also include maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring safe storage and disposal of chemicals, updating inventory records, supporting practical demonstrations, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety guidelines such as CLEAPSS.
The role requires someone detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and confident working in a fast-paced environment. The technician will work closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons run smoothly and that all practical resources are available, clean, and well-maintained.

• Good organisational and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of CLEAPSS guidance (desirable)
