The Snapshot

  • Location: Chesterfield (Convenient for M1 and Sheffield commuters)

  • Salary: Local Government Grade (Competitive)

  • Contract: Permanent, Term-time only

  • Hours: 37 hours per week (Standard school hours)

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Morning Prep: Ensuring all "period 1" practicals are delivered to laboratories at least 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

  • Waste Management: Safely handling and disposing of hazardous waste and sharp objects according to environmental and school regulations.

  • Equipment Auditing: Conducting an annual audit of all science equipment to inform the long-term capital expenditure plan.

  • Supportive Presence: Being available during lessons to troubleshoot equipment issues or replenish supplies, ensuring learning is never interrupted.
