We need a "solutions-focused" leader who can navigate the complexities of academy funding and ensure the school environment is safe, modern, and financially sound.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Budget Accountability: Providing the Board of Governors with detailed monthly financial reports and ensuring the school meets all Academies Financial Handbook requirements.

  • Procurement: Managing the tendering process for school services (catering, cleaning, IT) to ensure "Best Value" and high-quality service delivery.

  • Risk Management: Maintaining the school’s Risk Register and ensuring robust insurance cover and disaster recovery plans are in place.

  • Staff Mentorship: Providing high-level leadership to the office and site teams, fostering a culture of professional growth and efficiency.
