The Role

• Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism

• Delivering engaging project-based learning experiences

• Supporting pupils with NEA, coursework, and examination preparation

• Promoting creativity, problem-solving, and technical precision

• Ensuring workshop health & safety compliance and risk assessment procedures

• Monitoring pupil progress and implementing attainment strategies

• Contributing to curriculum innovation and departmental planning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Design & Technology or related field

• Experience teaching DT at secondary level

• Strong workshop management and health & safety knowledge

• High expectations for pupil engagement and achievement

• A proactive and collaborative professional approach
