The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism
Delivering engaging project-based learning experiences
Supporting pupils with NEA, coursework, and examination preparation
Promoting creativity, problem-solving, and technical precision
Ensuring workshop health & safety compliance and risk assessment procedures
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing attainment strategies
Contributing to curriculum innovation and departmental planning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or related field
Experience teaching DT at secondary level
Strong workshop management and health & safety knowledge
High expectations for pupil engagement and achievement
A proactive and collaborative professional approach
