The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 expected
Delivering engaging lessons across a range of media and techniques
Supporting pupils with GCSE and A Level coursework and portfolio preparation
Organising exhibitions, displays, and celebration of pupil work
Monitoring attainment and implementing strategies to raise achievement
Contributing to curriculum refinement and departmental development
Supporting enrichment opportunities such as art clubs or gallery visits
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Fine Art or related discipline
Experience teaching Art at secondary level, including examination groups
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
A track record of securing strong outcomes at GCSE and/or A Level
High expectations for creativity, presentation, and pupil engagement
