This Outstanding 11–18 secondary school in Durham is known for its vibrant Performing Arts programme, annual productions, and strong extracurricular provision.

The school is seeking a technically skilled Performing Arts Technician.

Role Overview

The Performing Arts Technician will support Drama and Music productions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating lighting and sound systems

  • Supporting rehearsals and performances

  • Maintaining stage equipment

  • Conducting safety checks

  • Managing props and costume storage

  • Supporting recording projects

  • Preparing staging layouts

  • Managing technical inventory

  • Supporting evening productions

  • Advising staff on technical setups

Candidate Requirements
