To strengthen its operational leadership, the school is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Data Manager.
Role Overview
The Data Manager will oversee all aspects of assessment data, reporting, and MIS systems across the school.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and maintaining the school’s MIS system (SIMS, Arbor or similar)
Coordinating whole-school assessment data collections
Producing progress and attainment reports for SLT and governors
Analysing GCSE and A Level exam performance
Supporting Heads of Department with data interpretation
Managing statutory returns (school census, performance tables)
Overseeing intervention tracking systems
Ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Training staff on reporting systems
Supporting timetabling and option processes
This role requires precision, analytical thinking, and strong organisational skills.
Leadership & Assessment Structure
The Data Manager works closely with the Deputy Headteacher (Academic), Exams Officer, and senior leadership team.
Candidate Requirements
Extensive experience with school MIS systems
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
