Science Teacher – Worcester
We are seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Worcester. This is a full-time, permanent position, suitable for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The role offers the opportunity to teach across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5, within a supportive and innovative Science department.
About the Role
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will inspire students of all abilities to develop their scientific knowledge, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities. The role also involves assessing student progress, contributing to departmental curriculum development, and supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs and competitions.

Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3/4 (KS5 optional)
• Develop students’ practical and theoretical understanding of Science
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Support school STEM initiatives and extracurricular Science opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and ensure consistency
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in a Science-related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school environment (ECTs welcome)
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love of Science
