Are you an ambitious and enthusiastic Music Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity at a leading secondary school in Derby? We are partnering with a highly regarded school to appoint a talented Music Teacher to join their exceptional faculty.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position starting ASAP. You will teach Music across KS3/4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience. The role includes leading ensembles, supporting performances, and contributing to a vibrant extracurricular music programme.

Responsibilities

• Teach Music across KS3/4 (KS5 optional)
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons
• Support extracurricular music activities and performances
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Contribute to curriculum planning and development

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Music or related discipline
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
• ECTs encouraged to apply
