About the Role

As a Psychology ECT, you will teach KS4 and KS5 Psychology (GCSE and A-Level), inspiring students to engage critically with psychological theory, research, and real-world applications. You will receive structured mentoring, regular feedback, and ongoing professional development to help you thrive in your first teaching role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons across KS4–KS5.

• Support students’ understanding of key concepts, research methods, and exam preparation.

• Monitor student progress and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.

• Collaborate with department colleagues to share good practice and resources.

• Participate in co-curricular and enrichment opportunities, including clubs, trips, and events.

• Contribute positively to the school’s academic and pastoral culture.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve by September 2026.
