IT Technician – Secondary School in Reading – ASAP Start!

A well-regarded secondary school in Reading is seeking a reliable and proactive IT Technician to join the school as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to support the day-to-day running of the school’s IT systems and play a key role in ensuring technology effectively supports teaching, learning, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line IT support to staff and pupils

  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues

  • Setting up and maintaining computers, laptops, and classroom technology

  • Supporting the management of user accounts and permissions

  • Assisting with system updates, backups, and equipment maintenance

  • Liaising with the IT Network Manager and external providers when required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience in an IT support or technician role
