Leadership prioritises financial sustainability and long-term strategic planning. The school benefits from modern facilities, secure financial systems, and experienced administrative teams. Governance oversight is rigorous and supportive.

Due to continued growth and strategic development, the school is seeking a highly competent and analytical Finance Manager.

Role Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee the school’s financial operations and ensure robust financial control.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and monitoring annual budgets

  • Producing monthly management accounts

  • Managing payroll and pensions

  • Overseeing procurement processes

  • Ensuring financial compliance

  • Supporting audit procedures

  • Monitoring income and expenditure

  • Reporting financial data to SLT and Governors

  • Managing finance staff

  • Supporting strategic financial planning

The role requires precision, integrity, and strong financial expertise.

Finance Team

The Finance Manager works closely with the School Business Manager and Headteacher. Established accounting systems are in place.

Candidate Requirements

  • Professional finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

  • Experience in financial management

  • Strong budgeting and forecasting skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong IT and reporting skills

  • Excellent organisational ability

  • Commitment to compliance and safeguarding
