About the Music Department

The Music Department is comprised of experienced and passionate specialists who deliver a rich and varied curriculum. The department benefits from excellent rehearsal spaces, performance facilities, and strong extracurricular provision including ensembles and concerts.

Responsibilities

• Teach Music across KS3/4, with the possibility of KS5
• Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
• Support extracurricular music activities and performances
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Music or related discipline
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
