The Role

• Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons

• Supporting pupils with coursework, NEA, and exam preparation

• Promoting high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation in practical lessons

• Encouraging creativity, confidence, and independence in the kitchen

• Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced DT department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, or a related subject

• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice

• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress

• A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
