A well-established secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a professional and proactive Receptionist to support its busy main office.
This role requires prior experience working within a school environment and a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Responsibilities Include:
Acting as the first point of contact for students, parents and external agencies
Managing high volumes of calls and email correspondence
Updating student attendance records daily
Issuing visitor passes in line with safeguarding policies
Supporting admissions and general office administration
Candidate Requirements:
Previous school office experience is essential
Strong working knowledge of MIS systems
Confident handling sensitive information
Professional telephone manner
Enhanced DBS required
