The Role

• Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience

• Leading on teaching and learning within the Art department

• Supporting curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development

• Driving high standards in coursework, sketchbook development, and final outcomes

• Organising displays, exhibitions, and enrichment opportunities

• Coaching and supporting colleagues to maintain consistent, high-quality practice

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject

• Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level

• A strong track record of excellent classroom practice and pupil progress

• Experience leading initiatives or contributing to departmental development

• High expectations for pupil engagement, creativity, and achievement
