Year 3 Teacher – Wolverhampton
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Wolverhampton, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Lower Key Stage 2 and enjoys delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils across the curriculum.

The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across all areas of the national curriculum. You will foster resilience, independence, and positive learning behaviours while supporting pupils’ academic and social development.
You will work closely with teaching assistants, Key Stage 2 colleagues, and senior leaders to maintain high standards and ensure a consistent, engaging, and inclusive learning experience. Effective communication with parents and carers is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Differentiate learning to support all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
Maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school initiatives
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
Be confident delivering literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be proactive, reflective, and adaptable
Show a strong commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
