The Role

• Teaching Photography across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons

• Supporting pupils with coursework, portfolio development, and exam preparation

• Teaching camera techniques, digital editing, and visual analysis

• Encouraging creativity and independent artistic expression

• Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Art department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Photography, Art & Design, or a related subject

• Experience teaching Photography at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice

• High expectations for pupil behaviour, engagement, and progress

• A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
