An outstanding school in Buckinghamshire is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Photography Teacher to join its successful Art & Design department from April 2026. Photography is a popular and well-established subject within the school, with pupils producing high-quality practical and portfolio-based work.
The Role
Teaching Photography across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework, portfolio development, and exam preparation
Teaching camera techniques, digital editing, and visual analysis
Encouraging creativity and independent artistic expression
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Art department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Photography, Art & Design, or a related subject
Experience teaching Photography at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil behaviour, engagement, and progress
A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
