Art & Design Teacher | Newham (Secondary)

We are working with a vibrant secondary school in Newham to recruit a creative Art & Design Teacher for a March start. This is a full-time, permanent position for a specialist looking to join a dynamic and expressive department.

About the School This is a popular and inclusive mixed secondary school that prides itself on its diverse arts curriculum. The school features modern, well-equipped art studios and regularly showcases student work in local exhibitions. The leadership team is highly supportive of the creative arts.

The Role The teacher will deliver Art & Design across KS3 and KS4, fostering technical skill and conceptual thinking in a variety of mediums. You will be encouraged to bring your own artistic specialisms into the classroom to inspire students. The role involves full teaching responsibilities.

Requirements

  • QTS and a strong portfolio of work.

  • The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary M1 – UPS3 (£36,745 – £56,959) per annum.
