Geography Teacher | Brent (Independent Secondary)

We are working with a leading independent school in Brent to recruit a talented Geography Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full-time, permanent position within a faculty that treats Geography as a vital lens through which to understand the modern world.

About the School This modern independent school is celebrated for its inclusive yet ambitious culture. The school features state-of-the-art technology and a strong emphasis on environmental awareness, supported by an engaged parent body and excellent resources for fieldwork and digital mapping.

The Role The teacher will deliver a rigorous Geography curriculum to pupils across KS3 and KS4. The school is looking for a specialist who can foster confidence in younger years while stretching top-tier GCSE candidates. You will be encouraged to lead on sustainability initiatives and coordinate local and international fieldwork opportunities. There is no requirement for KS5 in this role, allowing for a dedicated focus on secondary-level mastery.

Requirements

  • QTS and a degree in Geography or Environmental Science.

  • The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

  • A valid enhanced DBS check.

Salary M1 – UPS3 (£37,870 – £56,154) per annum.
